Judge Peter Smola (Ret.)
<a href="https://cohencleary.com/attorney/judge-peter-smola/">Judge Peter Smola (Ret.)</a> is Of Counsel at Cohen Cleary, P.C. in Taunton. Appointed in 2013, he served as an associate justice of the Probate and Family Court in Bristol and Worcester counties and as First Justice in Dukes County, later returning as a recall justice until 2024. He served on the court’s Working Group on Substance Use and Mental Health. Before the bench, he practiced domestic relations law. He holds a J.D. from New England School of Law.
