John L. Burris

Burris</a> is the founder of Burris, Nisenbaum & Curry (BNC Law Firm) in Oakland, California, where he has represented victims of police misconduct and civil rights violations for more than 40 years. He earned his J.D. from UC Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law in 1973 and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
