Nevada Court Registry

The Nevada Court Registry empowers the Nevada judicial system to make court records available to the public. Records made available under the public record act may be obtained without having to state an intention of need. Official court records are usually accessible in electronic and paper copies. Note that certain court records may not be accessible if they have expunged or sealed by law or court order. The public may request to access court records in any of these three ways:

• Visit the local courthouse where the record is on file to obtain a paper copy
• Visit the local courthouse where the record is on file to access an electronic version via the pubic computer terminal
• Remotely access electronic copies of court records via the Nevada Judiciary website or the website of the local courthouse where the case was filed.
