Description
Lisa J. Pezzano was born and raised on Long Island, New York. As the daughter of a New York City police officer and stay-at-home Mom turned real estate agent, Lisa grew up with an extended family which includes electricians, stone-cutters, police officers, carpenters, baggage handlers, and office workers. Her grandmother had to work the midnight shift to support her four children after the untimely death of her grandfather, instilling a strong work ethic in her family. Through these examples, Lisa developed great respect for hard-working Americans whose toil and sweat built this great country. It is thus fitting that she now represents injured workers, and has dedicated herself to helping them obtain the justice they deserve.
She graduated from Villanova University in 1988 and thereafter received her law degree, with honors, from George Washington Law School in 1991. Lisa first began practicing law for with a non-profit organization in Newark, New Jersey. She thereafter became the senior associate in a prominent Bridgewater, New Jersey law firm, where she represented several different insurance carriers in the defense of workers’ compensation claims, in every single vicinage in the State of New Jersey. In 2001, she opened her own law firm in Central New Jersey
