Kansas Court Registry

Kansas Court Registry are subject to the Kansas Public Records Act which mandates that all records categorized as public records be made available to citizens without having to present a purpose of need. Kansas court records are available in paper and electronic formats and can be obtained from branches of the state judicial system. Kansas citizens may request to view available court records in any of these three ways:

• Visit the local courthouse to obtain a paper copy
• Visit the local courthouse to access an electronic copy through a public access terminal at the Clerk’s office
• Remotely access the website of Kansas Judicial Branch or the website of the local courthouse to access an electronic version in jurisdictions where such provision is available
